To be precise, it’s a month after when Ondoy knocked out the Perlas ng Silangan nation.

Five days before Ondoy hits the land, I and friends had a day trip plan going to Island Cove, Cavite, since the GC's that we have had is getting ready to expire soon.
Then the Saturday came in, the day that we all look forward to. All were set. However, it wasn’t the excitement or the dawn that woke me up, instead, it was Ondoy.
The rain never stopped the whole night. Therefore, the first thing I did when I woke up was to check out my friend’s condition. Finally after some exchanged messages, we decided not to go because of the nonstop rain outside. It was Ondoy’s fault who actually ruined the trip. *sigh*
That was a one-day bad trip for me. It was a sort of a rally trip since we never had any chance to meet up for like years now because of the tight schedule at work.
I perfectly got pissed the whole day. Why not?
I held myself locked up at home but then my mama was out there somewhere in Cainta swimming in floods. *ack!*
I am so mad that we (I and papa) weren’t able to get the updates happening around most especially in Cainta area (where mama is) because the electricity was off after lunch. The next, was the out-of-order telephone line, which is in fact connected with Meralco? Duh!
Hello?! What’s going on mother earth?!
No electricity! No telephone line! No internet connection! Empty battery for my cell phone! I’m going to ask this for the 2nd time, am I dead or alive?
I know right, we’re in the state of chaotic days of our lives and yeah it did happened not so long ago. Remember the storm Frank? Can you imagine we had no electricity for one whole month?! However, compare to Frank, Ondoy was really a big timer.

Still I kept myself waiting for hours at that time. Yet, I stay calm not to worry about my mama. However, thanks to darkened surroundings, I’m motionless and fast fell off to sleep.
The good thing I should be thankful for is that, God is good. My mama went back home safe and sound. I may not have the softest sleep the other night, but to simply know that my family is completely safe, silently I am relieved. Definitely I can have the sweetest sleep everrr!

For many it was a battlefield. For those who had lost their homes, important things and especially loved ones, my sympathy is with you. I pray for your swift recovery. To those who have been volunteering, HELLO THERE and GOD BLESS YOU!

I’m not sure if I’m capable of being an environmentalist or a public servant, but a little care is what our mother nature wants us to do.
Reported in news lately, particularly in Pasig, it is not really competent building residence near the creek, since it's supposed to be the waterway.
What’s up DPWH?!
Also I hate to see overrated people throwing junks in no particular places. As I do believe in the saying, “kung ano ang basurang itinapon mo, siyang babalik sayo.” I also have faith in, “practice what you preach.”
In my littlest way of contribution saving our mother nature, I always put into practice to keep the undersized trash like candy wrappers, tissues, and the likes in my bag or in my pocket. If you are truly concern about keeping our nature protected, there are so many things that you and I can do.
And oh by the way, what I did is what I believed I have taught to do the right thing.
Tell me I’m sweet, right?! ^_^
Anyhow, Happy first month Ondoy! Grr! Go away! Don’t you dare come back again, will you not please! tehee...
